Extremities
by William Mastrosimone
Directed by Nori T. Schmidt & Cat Elrod
A story that is unfortunately all too familiar, for too many of us, unfolds when a young woman, Marjorie is assaulted and attacked in her home by a would-be rapist named Raul. When she manages to turn the tables on him, her roommates come home to discover him gagged and bound in the fireplace. Each character carefully and passionately echo and express different points of view regarding rape and sexual assault in our society, directly through Marjorie’s situation. A visceral telling that needs to be experienced right here, right now. Story time’s up, people. #metoo.
